Donald A. Kemp, 88, of Kingston, NH passed away May 27, 2018 at home with family by his side after a long illness. He was born next door in Kingston, NH on April 25, 1930 to G. Austin Kemp and Josephine Rogers Kemp. Don graduated from Sanborn High School Class of 1948 and the Thompson School of Agriculture in 1950.
Don was chosen by 4-H and UNH as one of NH's First International Farm Youth Exchange Students for 6 months in Norway on 4 different farms.
Don married Norma (Chick) Kemp in 1953. They had 4 children, son, Edwin and wife Kim Kemp of East Kingston, NH, daughter, Linda Kemp of St. Petersburg, FL., son, Dale and wife Helen Kemp of East Kingston, NH, son, Scott and wife Gina Kemp of Lee, NH, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Janet and husband, Karl Corser of Lompoc, CA.
He had a dairy farm most of his life. Don drove school bus for 20 years for Sanborn and 5 years for Safeway. Don enjoyed traveling. He was in the US Army and served in Germany for 18 months. He had a camp in Ossipee, NH. He belonged to the Mason Gideon Lodge No.84 in Kingston. He attended the Newton Junction Baptist Church in Newton, NH and sang in the choir.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Newton Junction Baptist Church, Newton, NH.
A private family burial will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston, NH.
