EXETER - Glen Bosworth, 79, of Exeter, died suddenly on Friday April 26, 2019, at Exeter Hospital.
Born on November 22, 1939 in Boston Massachusetts, he was the son of Donald and Ivy Bosworth. He is survived by his brother Lee Bosworth and his wife Helena of Borrego Spring, CA; sister Ellen Powell of Columbia, S. Carolina; daughter Deborah Taylor and her husband Glenn of Thousand Oaks, CA; son David Bosworth of Exeter, NH; daughter Donna Leu and her husband Louie of Monte Sereno, CA; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Bosworth, Wyatt & Holly Taylor, Logan, Landon & Lana Leu; dear friend Rachel Beckman and her son Nick. He was predeceased by his mother Ivy Larson Bosworth; father Donald Bosworth; ex-wife Aline Bernier Dube.
After graduating from Epping High School in 1957, Glen enlisted in the United States Air Force serving overseas as a medic. On June 18, 1960 he married Aline M. Bernier and together they raised 3 children. After returning to the United States in the 60's, he began working with family in construction. Later he started his own plumbing business and soon became owner of the Aqua Rama Hotel and Bill Baileys Restaurant and Bar in Hampton. Later in life he established Bosworth Construction Company and built many private residences and housing developments. In more recent years he worked as an independent electrician, until eventually becoming employed as a building inspector/code enforcement officer and health officer for the Town of North Hampton in 2017 until his death.
At an early age, Glen danced in his mother's dance studio, played basketball in his high school years, and became an accomplished downhill skier, even taking a run down the old historical ski jump at Gunstock Mountain. Glen had many interests over the years, some of which include: vintage/classic car restoration, snowmobile riding, Harley-Davidson cruising, and his monthly luncheons with his high school classmates. Glen was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, and a regular guest at Telly's Restaurant in Epping.

SERVICES: A memorial Service will be held at 5pm Thursday, May 9, 2019, at the Masonic Lodge, 6 Pleasant Street, in Epping. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to Brigham and Women's Hospital, 75 Francis Street, Boston, MA 02115. Arrangements are being handled by Brewitt Funeral Home in Exeter.
