Jacob Blake Currier "Jake", aka "Jake from State Farm", 27, died June 26, 2018 in Lee, NH from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born January 4, 1991 in Exeter, NH, son of John Currier and Rachel (Woodward) Meehan.
Jake grew up in Epping, NH and was a graduate of Epping High School, Class of 2011. Jake did fencing work for Fences Unlimited, and also had previously been in lumberyard work locally. Like his father, he also took up junking when he had available time to do so.
He was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for fishing, hiking and horse shoeing. Jake was an extremely loved person who had the biggest heart and gave the most genuine and best hugs. He was a person known to always help others before himself. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, John "JJ" and Pam Currier, mother and step-father, Rachel and Christopher Meehan, sister, Jaylin Gagliardi, half brother, Zachary Phillips, maternal grandparents, Bill and Barbara Woodward, paternal grandmother, Jeannette Currier and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather John Blake Currier.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping, NH. There are no other formal funeral services scheduled at this time.
A reception celebration of Jacob's life will be held at the American Legion Post 90, 32 Harriman Hill Rd., Raymond at 6 PM on Saturday, June 30. At the celebration of life the family wants to write messages to Jake on balloons and send them off all together. There will be assorted neon balloons to choose from or you can bring your own.
