Jason Scott Greenwood, age 43, a resident of Seabrook, NH formerly of Exeter, NH died February 28th 2019 at Exeter Hospital after a period of illness.
Jason was born April 16, 1975 at Exeter Hospital, and he grew up and spent most of his life in Exeter. He graduated from Exeter AREA High School with the class of 1994. While a student at Exeter High, Jason played football for the Blue Hawks all four years.
He worked as a painter for several employers in Exeter which included Bob McLeary Painting, Donald Moore Painting and CW McLean Painting. He was self-employed for a time working with his friend Tom before he went on to work in the maintenance department of the Exeter Cooperative School District for many years. Jason worked at the school until he was unable to work due to the debilitating effects of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Jason was an avid New England sports fan. He loved the Red Sox, Patriots, and the Celtics, and he attended many games over the years. He collected sports memorabilia and loved to cheer for his favorite players.
Jason was predeceased by his Nana Joyce Greenwood and his mother Janet Greenwood. He is survived by his uncle Alan Greenwood of Nashua, NH and many cousins.
There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at The Old Salt in the Goody Cole room 3/24/19 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm.
