Joshua Eric Hilton, 36, died November 24, 2018, at his home in Epping, NH from complications due to chronic asthma that he had since age 8. He was born March 18, 1982 in Exeter, NH son of Eric Steven Bouchard and Valerie Rose Hilton.
Josh grew up in East Kingston, NH. He was a graduate of Exeter High School, Class of 2000 and in that year he also received the honor of being #1 in his class at the Seacoast School of Technology in Culinary Arts. Throughout his life, Josh has been a hard worker in the restaurant business. He had been a longtime employee for the 99 Restaurant working at many locations throughout NH and some in MA. He was a kitchen manager and cook working mostly at the Seabrook location but was currently at the Manchester restaurant. He formerly worked 6 years at Ronaldo's in N. Hampton, NH. Josh had an amazing ten year relationship with Leah (Connors) Hilton which created the two most important people in Josh's life - his two sons Jacob and Caleb. More than anything, family was Josh's life.
Josh was an avid auto racing fan. In his youth, ice skating, playing hockey and skiing were favorite pastimes for Josh.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Curtis Bouchard and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Hilton.
Josh is survived by his sons, Jacob Daniel Hilton - age 5, and Caleb Eric Hilton - age 4, his mother, Valerie Rose Hilton, his father, Eric Steven Bouchard, his brother and companion, Justin Patrick Bouchard - age 27 and Rachel Dubanowski, brother, John Steven Bouchard -age 24, his best friend and mother of his children, Leah Hilton, paternal grandmother, Leslye Bouchard, maternal grandmother and her husband, Hazel and Donald Soule, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Prospect Cemetery, Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
A reception for everyone will follow the service at the Epping American Legion.
