Obituary

June A. Anderson, 74, of Candia, passed away on Sunday, February 4,
2018 at the Epsom HealthCare Center following a lengthy illness. She
was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born May
14, 1943 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late John Wovkanech
and Katherine (Goley) Wovkanech.She was a lifelong resident of Candia
until her illness. She attended the Henry W. Moore Elementary School in
Candia and graduated from Manchester Memorial High School in
1961.On July 21, 1962 she married the love of her life Richard G. "Dick"
Anderson of Candia whom she shared 47 years of marriage until Dick's
passing on November 14, 2009.June was a devoted wife, mother,
grandmother, sister and daughter. She lived every minute of every day for
others. She was committed to the care of elderly family and friends. She
was an active, passionate, and long-time member of the First Baptist
Church of Candia. Her outreach to the local community through the
Church was significant. June tirelessly hosted many family events and
gatherings through the years. She was the foundation of a large, loving
family. She amazed her family, friends, and others with her artistic talents,
although, herself, always understating these remarkable gifts. In fact,
many of her artistic talents can be seen in the homes of many of her family
and friends. Although her invaluable loss will be greatly felt by so many
who she showered with her love, devotion and compassion, she is now in
the company of her beloved husband, Dick. In addition to her parents
and her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, John G.
Wovkanech in 1949.She is survived by her three loving children, Michael
J. Anderson and his wife Diana Anderson of Hooksett; Holly K.
(Anderson) Tenney and her husband Edward B. Tenney of Sunapee; and
Marla J. Anderson and her fiancee Roger Sherman of Dunbarton, NH; a
brother, Gordon J. Wovkanech of Candia; and her precious three
grandchildren whom she loved so dearly, Allison Tenney, Mariah Tenney
and Matthew Tenney all of Sunapee, as well as several cousins, nephews,
nieces.Calling hours will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, February
9, 2018 at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping Street in Raymond. A
funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at
the First Baptist Church in Candia, 188 Deerfield Road in Candia. The
Pastor Barbara Sanders will be officiating. Burial will take place at a later
date in the spring at Holbrook Cemetery, Candia.In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Candia, 188
