Lillian Johnson Robinson, formerly Lillian Phillips, 93, passed away August 23, 2019 at her home in Exeter, NH surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 14, 1925 in Perry, ME, daughter of the late Lester and Leila (Kinney) Johnson.
Lillian grew up in Eastport and Perry, ME, one of four children in her family. She met Nathan Phillips after receiving her business degree. Lillian began working at Bangor Hydrol. She and Nathan wed and moved to a farm on Hedding Road in Epping, NH raise to their family and where she lived for many years. Lillian also worked as a clerk at the Epping Post Office, as a receptionist for Dr. Meyers Chiropractors in Exeter, and as a secretary at Kingston Warren. After the death of Nathan, Lillian married Roland Robinson.
Lillian had been a longtime member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Brentwood since 1980, and as a child she was raised Baptist.
Lillian was a veracious reader, an avid gardener, was a very good cook and she loved her family.
Lillian was predeceased by her two husbands, and her two brothers, Andrew Johnson and Roscoe Johnson.
She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Spinale and Diane Des Roches, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister, Ada Johnson Taber.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 21 NH-27, Brentwood, NH.
Burial will be in Marston Cemetery, Orrington, ME.
