Lucille (Gauthier) Howard, 83, passed away peacefully in her home in Nottingham, on January 6th, with her family at her side. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Raymond James Howard, Sr., her six children and their spouses: Raymond Howard, Jr. and his wife Barbara, Nancy Irwin, Cheryl Rudy and her husband Bill, Suzanne Howard, Yvonne Plausky and her husband Bill, and Rosanne Seiler. She also leaves behind 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several cousins and nieces.
Lucille was born Lucille Janette Gauthier in 1934 to Joseph Gauthier and Hermina Morin in Epping NH. She attended school in Epping, and in 1952 married Raymond James Howard, Sr. Together they built and ran the Big H function hall in Plaistow, NH for many years. She was a devout Catholic, most recently attending Saint Joseph's in Northwood. She was an avid gardener and reader, and loved board games and puzzles. Her biggest joy in life was being surrounded by her large family.
She lived long, laughed often, and loved much.
SERVICES: Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Saint Joseph's Church, 844 1st New Hampshire Turnpike (Rte 4), Northwood NH at 10:00am. There will be a reception to follow.
