Marie Claudette Yvette Byrne "Claudette", 74, died suddenly on October 6, 2017 at the Salem Hospital, Salem, MA.
She was born January 7, 1943 in Frenchville, ME, daughter of the late Pierre Lucien Paradis and Loretta (Pelletier) Stokes.
Claudette grew up in Frenchville, ME. She met the love of her life, John Byrne on a blind date. Four years later they got married. Claudette worked in several manufacturing companies before deciding to stay at home and take care of her family. John and Claudette were longtime residents of Kingston and Raymond, NH.
Her hobbies included quilt making, sewing, doing needlepoint and reading. She also enjoyed cooking. Above all, Claudette's family was most important to her and their needs always came before her own. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt and she will be greatly missed.
Claudette and John are communicants of St. Joseph Church in Epping.
She was predeceased by her 3 brothers, Raymond, Lucien and Maurice Paradis.
Claudette is survived by her loving husband, John Byrne, daughter, Colleen Byrne-McPherson, son and daughter-in-law, John and Linda Byrne, daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and August Jackson, 4 grandchildren, Kyle McPherson, Zachary Jackson, Jamie Byrne and Brandy Giordano, 1 great-granddaughter, brother and sister-in-law, Joseph "Larry" and Claire Paradis, brother and sister-in-law, Richard "Leo" and Donna Paradis, brother, Norman and Debbie Paradis, 2 sisters-in-law, Gloria Paradis and Betty Jo Paradis and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on November 11, 2017 at 11am at St. Joseph Church, 200 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
