Olive Estelle Kinch, 87, passed away on August 11, 2019 at the Exeter Center in Exeter, NH.
She was born May 8, 1932 in Dresden, ME., daughter of the late Reuben Durgan and Estelle (Bradeen) Durgan.
Olive was one of four children in her family and they grew up in Maine. Olive was employed for many years and retired at the age of 61 from Sylvania GTE as a machine supervisor. She resided in Exeter, NH for many years.
Olive was a devout catholic and was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Exeter. She was also an active member of the Order of Eastern Star, Orient Chapter of Exeter. In Sanford, ME, Olive was a member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls.
Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, traveling and listening to music. For a time, Olive was active with AARP. She loved spending time with her great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bernard Kinch who passed away in 1994 and her three siblings, Eleanor Condon, Rosa Bailey and Bill Durgan.
Olive is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Tony Hart, 1 grandson, Ricky Stewart Jr., and generations of nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Church, Exeter, NH.
Burial will follow in the Exeter Cemetery.
The celebration of her life reception gathering will follow services on Monday to be held at the Brentwood Community Center, 190 Rt. 125, Brentwood, NH estimated to begin at 1:00 PM.
