Pauline Richard, 63, died on November 25, 2018 at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover, NH. She was born in Somerville, MA on September 6, 1955, the daughter of the late Philip and Nancy (Ayers) Martell.
Pauline grew up in Peabody, MA and formerly resided in Salem, MA for many years where she owned and operated Kim's Variety Store. She was a resident of Raymond, NH for over 30 years before moving to Fremont, NH a year and a half ago. She was formerly employed at Hannaford Supermarket in Raymond, NH and as a bookkeeper for Air Heating and Cooling.
She was a very active lifetime member of the VFW Post 4479 Ladies Auxiliary of Raymond, NH and was a member of the American Legion Post 90 in Raymond, NH. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, making people laugh and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her beloved pet dogs, Twinkle, Bambi, and Lucy. While hospitalized she enjoyed visits from family and friends including Becca Morrell.
She was the widow of Reginald Richard who died in 2015 and was also predeceased by her brother Philip Martell Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda and her husband Mark Fortier and Kimberlee and husband Earle Ahearn Sr. both of Raymond, NH; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jeffrey Martell of Newfields, NH, Wayne Martell and his wife Joyce of Raymond, NH and John Martell and his wife Jan of Chichester, NH; her sister Virginia Gagnon of Raymond, NH; her first husband Victor Labrecque of FL; her companion Mikey Rodonis; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5-7 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11 AM at the Holbrook Cemetery, located off High St., Candia, NH.
