Marion Rita Poliquin, 94, died July 2, 2017 at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, NH. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Georgiana (Dauphine) Morel. Mrs. Poliquin was a native of Epping, NH born on June 9, 1923 and lived all of her life in Epping. She was a graduate of Epping High School and McIntosh Business College. She was the wife of the late Alfred D. Poliquin (1916-1975) from 1947 until 1975, who was a WWII veteran and retired Foreman from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
She was mother to five children, Alfred T. Poliquin (better known as Ted), Thomas G. Poliquin, Timothy J. Poliquin, Terrence L. Poliquin and Tracy R. (Poliquin) Lang. She was Grandmother to Aaron, Adam, Jeremy, Joel, Suzanne, Heidi, Timmy, Kyle, Jenny Poliquin and Corey Lang. She was Great-Grandmother to Mirelle Poliquin, Ellamina and Zephrin Ehrheart, Savannah Jankowski, Noah Poliquin, Dakota Currier, Gracie O'Neil, Nevaeh, Desiree and Kaylin Lang.
Mrs. Poliquin was a member of Saint Joseph's Parish where she was a member of the choir earlier in life. She was very active as a teacher within the Epping School system for many years as a substitute teacher and teacher's aide including teaching Title One. She also was a member, and performer, within the Upstairs and Downstairs Theater group. Mrs. Poliquin was also a Reading Tester for the Boy Scouts Of America.
Mrs. Poliquin was preceded in death by her husband Alfred D. Poliquin, her son Ted, and her grandsons Joel and Aaron Poliquin, in addition to all of her brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, Epping.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
