Born October 16th, 1940, to George & Myrtle (Ellis) Sanborn, to all who knew him, "Bob" was a caring and unique individual, who touched the lives of all who knew him.
Bob grew up and lived his entire life in Brentwood, NH. He grew up on Deerhill Road, on his family's Dairy Farm, with his brother & sister. After high school, Bob joined the Army where he worked his way up to being a Tank Commander.
After the Army, Bob went on to enjoy hobbies such as ice racing stock cars, water skiing, snowmobiling, and also flying with his own private pilot's license.
In his later years, Bob settled down on Scrabble Road, in Brentwood, NH, where he raised his two children.
Bob owned and operated many businesses over the course of his life, including metal fabricating, foundations, carpentry, and excavation. He was always a hard worker, and such ethics he passed on to his children and friends, mentoring many. In addition to his many careers, Bob devoted many years to the Town of Brentwood. He held positions such as Selectman for six years, a member of the Planning Board for nine years, and also Road Agent. A room at the Town Office was even dedicated in his name. Bob was committed to his Church throughout his life, The Fellowship in Christ, where he volunteered his many services. After retirement, Bob enjoyed going back to his roots, farming with his grandchildren. He enjoyed being in the barn, raising his goats, donkeys, and llamas. His biggest devotion in life was to his two children, Michael & Becky Sanborn.
