Ruth R. Seely, 91, passed on peacefully on May 6, 2018 at her daughter's home in Nottingham, NH, surrounded by family. She was born on September 26, 1926 in Malden, MA and grew up in Waterville, ME, the daughter of the late Norris and Susan (Butterfield) Webber. She married Donald G. Seely on November 29, 1952 and the couple raised four daughters. Ruth was a long time resident of Hampstead NH.
Ruth worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Christian Science Publishing Society in Boston. She was a long time member of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Derry. She was also a successful Avon Lady for many years and enjoyed walking, dancing, shopping, knitting and spending time with family and friends.
The great joy and love of her life was being a devoted and loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Donald G. Seely of Hampstead, NH; her sister Olive Williams of Winchester, VA; 4 daughters: Wendy McAuley of Ledyard, CT, Suzanne Bowman of Haverhill, MA, Heather Provencher of Nottingham, NH, and Pamela Jeffers of Portsmouth, NH; 8 grandchildren: Kie Bowman, Kendra Hayes, Kayla McAuley, Jocelyn McAuley, Travis Provencher, Evan Provencher, Hannah Jeffers, and MacLean Jeffers; and 9 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 2 PM at the Hampstead Congregational Church, 61 Main St., Hampstead, NH.
