Kelvin Doyle, 93, died in his sleep on January 2, 2013 at RiverWoods CCRC in Exeter, NH. He was born in New York City on April 23, 1919, the son of the late Edward T. and Irene Doyle of Sea Girt, NJ. He was a graduate of Dartmouth College, Class of 1940. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He and his wife Ginny, deceased, were married in 1943 and have two surviving daughters, Kathleen Doyle Cook of Santa Fe, NM and Nancy Doyle of Hamilton, MA and two grandchildren, Jack and Vitalyi Schreuer also of Hamilton. He is also survived by his two brothers, William Doyle of Montpelier, VT and Alfred P. Doyle of Sewickley, PA. Kelvin spent over 50 years working for Crown Cork and Seal, both in the United States and in Canada. It was always a second home that he loved. In the past decade he traveled extensively, often in the company of his significant other, Cherry Taylor. Their joy of life brought happiness to all of those around them. While at RiverWoods he served on the Resident Counsel and numerous committees with dedication and commitment to the home he loved. Kelvin was a bird watcher, traveller, golfer, tennis player, great story teller, but most of all a great friend to so many. His big smile, kind words and his big heart will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will occur at a future date.
