Obituary

Mrs. June R. Doyle, Stratham, NH, 83 passed away peacefully on April 8, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 17, 1933 to the late Gilbert A. and Eileen (Fagan) Ross.


June was a graduate from The Mount St. Joseph Academy in 1952. She went on to work for WTIC Radio and then as a secretary for the Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford, CT. On November 21, 1959 she married William H, Doyle of Holyoke, MA and they started their life in Enfield, CT and in 1978 moved to Stratham, NH. Together they had five children and June happily stayed home to raise them. In later years June went to work as a Customer Service Associate at Porteous Dept. Store at the Newington Mall. She enjoyed her time there and made many lifelong friends.


She was happiest being with her children and grandchildren and loved family gatherings. She will always be remembered for being a kind and gentle soul as well as incredibly stubborn. June was supportive of the Christian Children's Fund. She will be missed terribly by those that loved her the most.


She leaves behind her children and their spouses, William and MaryJo, Christopher and Debra, Robert and Theresa, Kevin and Eva and Marilyn and Ron, her grandchildren, William S., Marie, Adam, Steven, Stacey, Garrett, Chloe and two great grandchildren Savannah and Isabelle, a sister Betsy Lanza, brother in law Louis Lanza and brother Gilbert Ross as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a special granddog, Bentley. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband William, her sister Marilyn, sister in law Geri Ross, brother in law, Jack Moffatt and her son in law Thor Cook.


Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM at The Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine Street, Exeter, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Thursday, April 20, 2017 11:00 AM at St. Michael Church, Exeter, NH. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth, NH.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Webster At Rye, Activities Fund 795 Washington Road Rye, NH 03870.
