Raymond Lewis Rodier, born May 3, 1932 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, died, April 20, 2017 in Manchester, NH. Ray is a Veteran of the Army and Air Force. He served over seas in the Korean War. Ray married his wife Marlene Elaine Burnell of Haverhill, Massachusetts on July 23, 1951. They had three boys together, Raymond, Jr, Richard and David. Over the years, Ray worked and owned many different companies that he loved. He owned and operated his Gas Station, Chads Canvas Shop, M& R Greenhouses with his wife Marlene and a vending machine business. He spent 34 years working for the Town of Candia as their Animal Control Officer. He always told us the many stories of having to go chase animals and the crazy predicaments that he got himself into. Ray also loved gardening, and playing poker with his family and winning all his kids and grandkids money. He is survived by his loving wife, his children, Raymond Rodier, Jr and his fiancé Susan Roy of Goffstown, Richard Rodier and his wife Laurel of Epping, and David Rodier of Manchester, his five grandchildren, Jessica Rodier of Candia and her significant other David Fredrickson, Vanessa Rodier-Lefay of Oakfield, Maine and her husband Sean and step-son Guage, Robert Rodier of Portsmouth, Amy Rodier of Epping, Sarah Rodier-Hall and her husband Adam Hall of East Machias, Maine and two great grand children, Aubrey and Boe. His loving caretaker of three years, Albina Hubbell of Atkinston, New Hampshire. His nice and nephew Janet and Ray Archambeault of Massachusetts.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Holbrook Cemetery, Candia, NH.
