Evelyn Thelma Frappier, 90, died peacefully on April 26, 2017 at the Oceanside Rehabilitation Center in Hampton, NH. She was born March 12, 1927 in Lynn, MA, daughter of the late Charles and Annabelle (Wyatt) Storey.
Evelyn grew up in Lynn, MA, one of 4 children. She graduated from Burdett College in Lynn where she earned her administrative degree. Evelyn worked as a secretary for many years at the Sanborn Regional School District and retired in 1992 from the middle school. She and her husband, Francis B. Frappier were residents of Newton, NH since 1956. Evelyn was a longtime member and organist of the First Baptist Church in Newton.
She was a member of the Newton Historical Society.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Gregg Frappier, and two brothers, Vernon and Warren Storey.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Frappier of Raymond, 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, a brother, Gary Michael Storey of Peabody, MA, and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery, Newton, NH.
A memorial service will follow on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church, 6 Church St., Kingston, NH.
Flowers are acceptable.
