Barbara J. Dupre, 78, died April 28, 2017 at the Exeter Hospital. She was born November 19, 1938 in Amsterdam, NJ, daughter of the late Lawrence J. Dupre and Florence Mae (Robare) Dupre.
Barbara was raised in Johnstown, NY, the youngest of seven children. She earned an associate degree from Albany Business College in Albany, NY. Barbara got married in England and lived there for 3 years. While raising her children, she was a devoted homemaker. When she resided in Florida, Barbara worked five years with people who were developmentally disabled. Later, she worked in activities in Florida and New Hampshire and she became the Activities Director at Kirkwood Corners.
Barbara was an active communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping, NH.
Her favorite hobby was playing bridge.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia Bishop, Jeanne Moore, two brothers, John Dupre, Richard Dupre, and a son-in-law, Robert Urbanowski.
Barbara is survived by a daughter, Beth Urbanowski of Exeter, NH, son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Julieann Aldrich of WI, son, Aaron Aldrich of Derry, NH, 4 grandchildren, Nicole Urbanowski, Nathan Urbanowski, Emily Urbanowski, Erica Aldrich, a brother, Robert Dupre of Buffalo, NY, a sister, Doris Condon of Syracuse, NY several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 200 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. A reception will follow at the church after the Mass.
