Nola Mae Collum, 87, died at her home, surrounded by her family on May 14, 2017. She was born in Oakland, CA, the daughter of the late George H. and Nola F. (Miller) Daman.
A resident of Saugus, MA for over 60 years, she moved to Raymond six months ago to live with her daughter. She worked for many years as a cashier at Stop & Shop in Saugus and was Past Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star Tontaquon Chapter #100.
A dedicated mother and grandmother, she was very skilled at sewing, needlepoint, arts and crafts, and enjoyed reading and cooking for others.
She is survived by 3 children, Margaret E. Collum of Saugus, MA, Franklyn K. Collum Jr. and his wife Mary Meyers of Rochester, NY, and Nola L. Castle and her husband Thomas of Raymond, NH; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer Daniels and her fiancé John Rivard, Dawn O'Buck and husband Michael, Derek Collum and wife Lynne, Stephanie Reichelson and husband Jason, Scott Castle and wife Rhonda, Heather Brown and husband Stephen, Thomas Castle and wife Tiffany, and Ashley Castle; and 10 great grandchildren, Ethan A., Dylan, Corbin, Maya, Drew, Ethan C., Porter, Eli, Lydia, and Ella.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Mildred, Helen, Lorraine, George, and David.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 6-8 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10 AM at the funeral home.
