Richard Earl Harriman Sr., 63, of Barrington died unexpectedly on May 18, 2017, at Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. He was born in Newburyport, MA, on December 9, 1953, son of Charles H. and Mary Mae (Gould) Harriman.
Richard grew up in Newton, NH and attended Sanborn Regional High School in Kingston. He worked for many years in the construction industry including the Seabrook Power Plant, Pike Industries and finally retiring with the Massachusetts Labor Union in 2014. Richard was a race car enthusiast who enjoyed working on race cars in his spare time. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his family especially his grandson.
In addition to his father he was also predeceased by his brother, Charles H. Harriman. He is survived by his son, Richard "Rick" E. Harriman, Jr. of Rochester, NH; his mother, Mary Mae Harriman of Epping, NH; two brothers, Mickey Harriman of Kingston, NH and Joey Harriman of Florida; one sister, Jill Bourdelais of Epping, NH; his grandson, Richard E. Harriman, III and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
