Gregory L. Armstrong, 64, died on July 3, 2017 at the Wentworth- Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. He was born on April 30, 1953 in Exeter, NH the son of the late Carl and Virginia (Porter) Armstrong. A longtime resident of Raymond and graduate of Raymond High School, he has been a resident of Rochester the last 21 years.
A talented musician and lover of music, Greg played the drums for the Burtt Scott Band for the last 25 years. He was a true people person with a great sense of humor who greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also loved to travel and take frequent road trips with his wife of 24 years, Anita A. (Vadeboncoeur) Armstrong, who he married in the "Chapel of the Bells" in Las Vegas, NV. He was also was a big fan of television game shows.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Greg Armstrong of Brookfield, NH; his 3 stepchildren, Tammy Roy of East Rochester, NH, Jason Roy of Rowley, MA, and Gary Roy of Cleveland, GA; 5 grandchildren, Cydney, Rowan, Jaden, Lucien, and Maximus; and 3 siblings, Donna Andon of Nashua, NH, Gilbert Armstrong of Raymond, NH; and Chrystal Beane of Candia, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11 AM at the Emmanuel Family Life Center, 34 Eastern Ave., Rochester, NH.
