If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. With great sadness, the Blair family mourns the loss of Jeanne Marie Blair (Fillipone). Jeanne battled many years with an Autoimmune Disease, Sjogren's Syndrome. In her final hours, she was surrounded by her family and was a true fighter through the end.
Jeanne was born in Winchester, MA on November 14th, 1947 to the late Egiddeo and Alice Fillipone. She grew up and graduated from Stoneham High School, and was a member of the Saint Patrick's Drill Team.
She is the loving wife of Kevin Blair, and the mother of two daughters, Katie-Jean and her husband William Young of Stratham, NH and Kimberly Ann and Daniel Horvath of Plano, TX. She is the loving grandmother to James Horvath and William Young. She cared deeply for her siblings, sisters Janet and Bill Mello of Rochester, NH, and Kate Fillipone of Hyannis, MA, and brother Tony and Kelli Fillipone of Hampstead, NH. She now joins her sister Judy Luchesse, brother-in-law, Chaunce and other loved ones in heaven. She loved her many nieces, nephews and friends and will be greatly missed by many.
We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Jeanne throughout the years. She was a lover of people and always went above and beyond to take care of others, especially when they were ill or going through difficulties. Known as "Ms. Jeanne the Beauty Queen," Jeanne was a skilled hair dresser and business owner and had a passion for the profession and her clients, many whom became close friends. She helped and supported her husband Kevin in his ventures as a florist. She loved Jesus and her church family and was believing for a miracle. Although it didn't seem she had a miracle in the way we wanted, Jeanne was able to see her daughters get married and both bring little boys into the family. She got great joy from spending time with her family and loved ones. Jeanne enjoyed camping, the sunshine, and the beach. Being Irish and Italian, Jeanne also had a feisty, fun side. She was a "tell it like it is" person with an outgoing personality and a big sense of humor. She accomplished much in her lifetime.
Thank you to all who leant a helping hand along the way and for your friendship. In honor of Jeanne, please continue her legacy of kindness by doing something for others.
