Linda Ann Main, born April 17, 1949, passed away Sept 7, 2017, in the care of her daughter and sister.
Born in Dover, NH, Ms. Main was the daughter of Anna (Rousseaux) Main and Norman Main.
Ms. Main grew up in Portsmouth, NH, and was a graduate of Portsmouth High School, Class of 1967 where she was a member of the track team. She then attended classes at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Plymouth State College prior to working in the engineering field, from which she was retired.
Ms. Main delighted in cross-country skiing in her scenic home state, and also loved to paint.
She considered her daughter Christine to be her greatest achievement and was immensely grateful to forge a strong bond with her daughter.
She was the sister of Cora Kathleen Roberge and Roy Main, mother of Christine Migneault of Ovando, Montana, grandmother of Travis Migneault, and Tyler Migneault and his wife Toni Migneault of Eugene, Oregon, and great grandmother of Astoria, Archer and Aesop Migneault. She was blessed to have spent the last 29 years with the love of her life Elizabeth Kiernan, as well as Elizabeth's children Cassandra Wright and Tammy McNally, and their children Megan McNally and Johnathan Hartman, and Elizabeth's son Greg O'Brien.
She was predeceased by her mother Anna, her partner Elizabeth and Elizabeth's son Greg, as well as her aunt Marie Runnals (Rousseaux), with whom she had a cherished relationship.
She will be remembered as a courageous and inspiring woman that brought joy to those blessed to know her.
