Alice Lucille Langdon (Keen), died peacefully at Sunrise Assisted Living in Leominster, MA on September 14, 2017. Alice (Nana) is survived by her three children, Gerald Langdon of Epping, NH, Paul Langdon of Concord, NH and Penny Langdon Fullen of Shirley, MA. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank Langdon, Jr. of Epping. She had four grandchildren, Paul Langdon, Jr., Trish Simpson, William Langdon and James Langdon. In addition, Alice enjoyed her relationships with her seven great grandchildren.
Alice was born on December 31, 1925, in Kittery, ME to Nellie Staples and Allen Keen. She graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1943 and also attended courses at UNH for Public Library Techniques. Alice and Frank, who served in the US Navy and Marine Corps as a medic from 1942-1956, retired in 1956 and moved to Epping in 1956.
In June 2002, Alice moved to Devens, MA where she lived for five years before moving to Shaker Meadows in Shirley, MA. Alice resided at Sunrise where she lived for the past two years.
Alice worked in retail for many years. She was also the Epping town librarian for several years and served the town as clerk for the Cemetery Commission. As a member of the Epping Community Church, she participated in the Ladies Aid, was the church treasurer and a Sunday School teacher for many years. She also worked as a nurse's aide at the Rockingham County Home.
Alice was very interested in genealogy, researching both the Keen and Langdon families. She was a past member of the Exeter Genealogical Society and a life member of the Piscataqua Pioneers.
Alice was also an avid traveler both internationally and throughout the US, visiting every state with the exception of only three. Her favorite pastime of late was to take rides in the car in the country.
She loved to read, work on crossword puzzles and cherish mother nature and all animals.
Burial will be private in the family lot in Prospect Cemetery in Epping, NH.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Josiah's Meetinghouse, 521 Calef Hwy. in Epping, NH.

All who knew Alice, our beloved Nana, were truly blessed to have known her. This sweet, lovely lady with her beautiful smile will be missed by all.
