Peter R. Bissonnette SR., 63 of Worcester died peacefully on September 23, 2017 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME., where he spent the last week of his life after fighting a six-year long battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his loving companion Carla Coughlin of 20 years, his daughter Christine Bissonnette who resides in Georgia and his son Peter Bissonnette of Worcester. He was preceded by his parents George Bissonnette and Pearl Bissonnette (Swenson). He was survived by his identical twin brother, Paul Bissonnette (Webster), and two brothers George Bissonnette (Worcester), Michael Bissonnette (Oxford), and one sister Dale Abbott (Worcester). He was also preceded by brothers Daniel Bissonnette, John Bissonnette, and Jimmy Bissonnette. He was survived by three Granddaughters Tiffany, Tayla-Jean, Julianna Bissonnette and two great grandkids Jovani and Jaylee and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. He also, leaves behind his beloved cat Barnum.
Peter's pride and joy was riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, fishing, talking to people and watching FOX News. He served with the United States Marine Corps and was a boxer in Worcester during the prime days of his life. He retired from Wyman Gordon.
Peter will be cremated and buried in New Hampshire as he wished to remain there. A remembrance of life will be scheduled in Worcester, for a later date. Time, date and location will be posted in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette Obituary section when arrangements have been scheduled.
