Jesse A. "Jessman" Godin, 23 died suddenly on November 11, 2017 in Exeter, NH.
He was born June 9, 1994 in Portsmouth, NH, son of Leo and Susan (Bohne) Godin.
Jesse grew up in Exeter and was a graduate of Exeter High School, Class of 2012. Jesse was a very athletic boy and played many years in baseball from little league through his sophomore year and played football for the Exeter Seahawks up also through his sophomore year of high school. Jesse was also an accomplished gymnast in his early years. At that time, there was a girl Jesse on the gymnastics team. That's where his nickname was created as "Jessman" for obvious reasons, which stuck all these years. After graduation, Jesse went right into the work force. He got a job where his father worked at Coastal Truck in Portsmouth. Jesse was a person that always had to be on the go and doing something and as of late he was buying and selling figurines over E-Bay. He also enjoyed mowing the lawn to perfection.
Jesse was the class clown through school and he has always possessed the quality to make people laugh. He was very loving and thoughtful and was someone that everyone wanted to be around. He also enjoyed snowboarding for many years and lately his passion was in golfing.
Jesse and his friends preferred spending nighttime fun at Hampton Beach.
He is survived by his loving parents Leo and Susan Godin, his sister, Alyssa Godin, his niece, Caroline Melvin, his paternal grandmother, Mary Godin and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
