Frances S. Welch-Bartlett, 85, died on December 12, 2017 at her home in Raymond surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Haverhill, MA on December 18, 1931, the daughter of the late Arthur Dodier and Beatrice (Godin) Lahey.
A longtime resident of Raymond, she wintered in Florida and also formerly resided in Fremont, NH. She attended Catholic schools in Haverhill, MA and was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Haverhill. She was formerly employed by the City of Haverhill Police Department as a crossing guard in the city.
She was a member of the Elks Club in Epsom, NH, the Eagle Club Ladies Auxiliary in Port Charlotte, FL, and the Moose Club of Women Chapter 777, Punta Gorda, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two husbands, Richard P. Welch Jr. and Robert A. Bartlett; 2 sons, Raymond E. Tibbetts and William H. Butler; her grandson David M. Welch and great granddaughter, Christina M. Jennings.
She is survived by three sons, Girard Tibbett and his wife Kelly of Nottingham, NH, Richard P. Welch III and his wife Laurie of Raymond, NH, and Joseph Welch and his wife Suzanne of Littleton, NH; 4 daughters, Patricia Monroe and her husband Carl of North Port, FL, Linda Bourque and her husband Jay of Fremont, NH, Suzanne Larue and her husband Paul of Raymond, NH, and Sandy Farrin and her longtime companion Howard I. Brown III of Raymond, NH; 24 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 3-6 PM at the Brewitt Funeral home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH.
