Joseph Gamlin Ready, 72, died January 26, 2018 at the Exeter Hospital. He was born June 22, 1945 in Amesbury, MA, son of the late Warren J. Ready and Ida-Bella (Gamlin) Ready.
Joe grew up one of three children in Kingston, NH. He graduated from Sanborn High School and went on to became a talented cabinet maker. He owned and operated Advanced Custom Cabinets in Brentwood and later sold the business. For most of his adult life, he resided in Brentwood and Fremont, NH.
Joe was a talented photographer and he liked traveling. Uniquely, Joe had a passion for tornado chasing and there were numerous times that he would stay in the aftermath volunteering and aiding the families through the devastation left behind.
He is survived by his three children, Joseph Matthew Ready of Mooresville, NC, Shawn William Ready of Cleveland, TN., and Melissa Kennedy of Brentwood, NH, 9 grandchildren, a sister, Judy McSwigin of ME, and several nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by one brother, Bill Ready.
There are no calling hours.
A private graveside service will be held at the Brentwood Cemetery.
