Robert J. Murray-to almost everyone he was known as "Muzzy" or to his
co-workers as "Bob", 62, died unexpectedly on March 3, 2018 after a
period of declining health. He was born June 22, 1955 in Everett, MA,
son of the late Robert J. Murray and Dorothy (Trickett) Murray.
Muzzy grew up and lived for many years in Everett, MA. He was a
longtime employee at the Brookline, MA Post Office as a letter
carrier. In 2006, he and his wife, Rhonda Wood moved to Epping, NH.
Muzzy was more of a homebody and he enjoyed watching sports on
television and following his New England teams. Rhonda did fondly
recall that Muzzy on more occasions than once had given up watching a
game to only find out later that his team had made an amazing comeback
and won the game. He also enjoyed going to the beach. Muzzy was a
former member of the Elks, and the Sons of the American Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Wood, his children, Robert Murray,
Stephen Murray, Krystal, Kori, Joseph, 3 grandchildren, Adreyan, Isabella, JJ and
a brother, Richard and his two cats which he adored, "Papa" and "Lil Cook".
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
