John Edwin Palmer, 82, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2018 in Exeter, NH. Born in Dover, NH on December 20, 1935 to Frederick and Bertha Palmer. He was one of 12 children and grew up in Durham, NH.
John enjoyed traveling to local NH fairs, bee keeping, gardening, cutting wood, boating on the Great Bay, oystering, and clamming. He was an active member of the Seacoast and NH Beekeepers Associations.
John raised his family of 6 on a farm in Newmarket, NH. He is survived by his 6 children, John and Laurie Palmer, Aaron and Jackie Palmer, Lolene and recently deceased husband Dana Hull, Jadene Farrow, Jason and Lauralee Palmer, and Jane Dixon; as well as 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Buffy Crabtree and Pearl Beasley, and brother Woodrow Palmer.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at the Durham Cemetery, 278 Main Street Durham, NH at 11 am.
