Robert James Rydeen, age 77, passed away peacefully on July 17th, 2018. He was born in St. Paul Minnesota, to the late Robert & Anne (Gibson) Rydeen. He moved to Fremont NH in 1975 with his ex-wife, Karen Rydeen.
Bob led a full life and was fortunate to travel the world. His parents knew he was destined for wonderful things when, at the age of 12, he rewired their bathroom to "make it work better". He then went onto many endeavors in his lifetime; Police officer, bush pilot, Photographer for WTCN and WCCO in Minnesota, Eastern Airlines Captain, Magician, Inventor, Fremont Town moderator, and advocate for affordable housing. As he often stated, he was most proud of his family. He is survived by and will be missed by his son, Michael and wife Jennifer Rydeen and children, Alec and Ella, his daughter Christine and husband Gregory Weeks and children, Logan and Faith, his sister, Patricia Biersach and children Jim, Mike and Sue, and his border collie, Emma.
As Bob was an avid reader, his Celebration of life will be held at the Fremont Town Library (7 Jackie Bernier Drive, Fremont NH) on August 26th from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider donating to either of the following causes: http://www.stroke.org/ways-give/donate, https://farnumcenter.org/donation/ or http://www.hopeonhavenhill.org/donate.html
