Mona Jeannie Kennedy "Mo", 53, died unexpectedly on August 2, 2018 at her home in Deerfield, NH. She was born October 27, 1964 in Springfield, MA, daughter of Denise (Brouillard) Fillion and the late Donald Fillion.
Mo grew up in West Springfield, MA. She later earned her associate degree in accounting and went on to a long career as an office manager, consultant and bookkeeper for several local area businesses in New Hampshire including current employment with Foy Insurance in Exeter. She was formerly employed by Honda in Beverly, MA, Acura Connection in Peabody, MA where she met Daniel, Honda in Salem, NH, Gary Blake Saab in Exeter, and Brian Blake in Hampton. Mo was very up to date on bookkeeping rules and she excelled in dealing with numbers and operations in the office. In September of 1997, Mo married Daniel R. Kennedy. They had resided in Deerfield for the past 10 years and formerly lived in Fremont, NH.
Mo and Dan operated the Sweet Harmony Farm from their home in Deerfield where they raised their 14 alpacas. Mo loved spending time tending to the farm. She also volunteered her time for under-privileged babies of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Mo not only knitted and made clothing items but she kept track of the production schedule for the organization.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dan Kennedy, 2 step-daughters, Sara and Emily, 1 granddaughter, her mother, Denise Fillion, her brother, Mark Fillion and other extended relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
There are no other formal funeral services scheduled at this time.
