Michael Alan Vantran, 49, of Hampstead, NH passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes on September 10, 2018. He was born on August 26, 1969 in La Mesa, CA, son of Ronald G. and Janet (Tischbierek) Vantran.
Michael grew up in California and graduated from Crawford High School in San Diego. In California, he worked on bridges and in the construction field and later for Southern California Soils and Testing in San Diego. For the last 8 years, Michael worked locally as Vice President Special Inspections & Materials at John Turner Consulting. He had many credentials associated with his industry, including ICC, OSHA, HILTI Firestop Systems and ACI Certifications.
Michael was an avid fan of the San Diego Chargers, and was crushed when they moved to L.A. He enjoyed cheering them on with a beer in hand and going to their games when he was younger with his father who had season tickets. Michael also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
He was predeceased by his father, Ronald in 2006 and is survived by his loving wife, Lillian (Braley) Vantran; his sons, Steven, Mitchell and Chance and his daughters, Rachel, Hannah and Hailey. He is also survived by his mother, Janet; his siblings, Robert and wife Alberta, David and wife Jackie and his sister Shirley; and by his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 4 to 7 PM, at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, NH. A reception will follow at the family's home in Hampstead, NH.
