Pearl B. Warren, 90, died peacefully on October 29, 2018 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH, surrounded by her family. She was born August 7, 1928 in Limerick, ME., daughter of the late John Berry and Flora (Roberge) Berry.
Pearl grew up in Maine and New Hampshire and graduated from the McGraw Normal Institute in Reeds Ferry, NH, Class of 1945. She married Charles W. Warren Sr on September 8, 1951 and lived for 40 years in East Kingston, NH. She was also a resident at Pine Pond in Epping, NH for several years. Pearl was a former employee at Wheelabrator Frye in Hampton, NH in the food service department and also was employed at Kitchen, Etc. in Newington.
Pearl was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping, NH and of St. Michael's in Exeter.
"DeDe", as she was known, was an avid baker and cook, well renowned for her famous whoopie pies. She was a candlepin bowler on both the singles and couples leagues at Exeter Bowling Lanes for many years. Among her favorite hobbies were traveling, music and hooking handmade rugs.
Pearl was predeceased by her husband in 1985, and by her grandson Todd L. Warren in 2016. Pearl was the last sibling in the Berry family of Brunswick, Maine, of which there were 9 other brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Warren Laprade of Portland, ME. Two sons, John and his wife, Linda of Somersworth, NH. and Charles Jr. and his companion, Zara Qureshi of Newcastle, NH. Four grandchildren, Ian, Nathan, Meredith and Andrea, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping, NH starting at 2 PM with a prayer service starting at 3 PM.
