Karen L. Howcroft, 45, passed away on November 2, 2018 at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover, NH. She was born April 21, 1973 at Langley A.F.B. in Hampton, VA., daughter of Dorothy (Wilkins) Scott and the late William Charles Scott.

Karen's early years were spent in California. Later her family moved to Massachusetts and then to Epping, NH on North River Rd. Karen was a graduate of Epping High School, Class of 1991. From 1991-1993, Karen was previously married to Lawrence Floyd and they had two beautiful children together, Michael Floyd and Nisha Floyd. On May 17, 1996, Karen married Norman Howcroft and they resided several years in Newmarket before moving to Epping on Prescott Rd. Karen was employed by Federal Savings Bank for 12 years as a head bank teller working between their branches in Barrington, Newington, Dover and Portsmouth. Later she became an Assistant Manager at the Dollar Tree in Newington. Karen had been a devoted member of her church for many years which was The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Exeter, NH

Karen was a very heart felt, caring and loving person. She never wanted anyone to be upset and strived to make others feel happy. She enjoyed singing, making crafts and floral arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, Norman "Buzzy" Howcroft, daughter, Nisha MacKinnon, son, Michael Floyd, grandchildren, Kalila Fox, Lennon MacKinnon, Layla Mackinnon, Jayden Floyd, Autumn Bennett mother, Dorothy Scott, siblings, Crystal Dow, Roger Scott, Catherine Scott, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 55 Hampton Falls Rd., Exeter, NH with a luncheon to follow in the church gymnasium for all people who would like to come enjoy some food and share memories they have about Karen.

Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Epping at a later date.

Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made for thyroid research as Karen battled a disease known as Hashimoto's Disease affecting her thyroid.
