Cynthia "Cindy" J. Tirrell, 72, of Raymond, New Hampshire died on November 7, 2018 at The Elliot Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Derry, NH on February 17, 1946, to parents Daniel and Ruth Campbell.
A loving wife and mother, Cindy's greatest joys in life were her husband, children, friends, and most of all her grandchildren. She adored her dog Bailey Rose, and she was an avid gardener who loved flowers. She also truly enjoyed being at home, reading, and playing computer games.
A graduate of Raymond High School, Cindy also attended Hesser College where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She worked as a social worker for a short while before marriage, and after getting married, she assisted her parents with running the family business, Raymond Building Supply. She also worked for many years at Raytheon.
She was predeceased by her brother, David K. Campbell of Raymond, NH, and her parents, Ruth and Daniel Campbell also of Raymond.
Cindy is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Larry Tirrell, of Raymond, NH, daughter Karen Fortier and her husband Charles Fortier of Key West, FL, daughter Jennifer Scioscia and her husband Anthony Scioscia of Raymond, NH, granddaughter Jessie Towle of Candia, NH, grandson Nicholas Scioscia of Raymond, NH, granddaughter Samantha Scioscia of Raymond, NH, Sister Terry Park and her husband Darrell Park of Maine, Aunt Lois and Uncle Harold of Machias, ME, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping Street, Raymond, NH. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 14th, at 2:00pm, at the Congregational Church of Raymond, 1 Church Street, Raymond, NH. A potluck luncheon with friends and family will follow the funeral ceremony in the church hall.
